No-see-ums are the worst. They're too small for standard screen mesh, so even a screened porch can feel pointless when those tiny bugs find their way in anyway. That's exactly why we went with a no-see-um screen for this porch enclosure - a tighter mesh weave that keeps out the insects standard screen lets right through.

The enclosure wraps the full perimeter of the porch with clean white aluminum framing set against the existing wood posts. It's a substantial space, and every panel is stretched tight with no gaps or sagging. That matters a lot more than people realize. A loose or poorly fitted screen is just an open invitation.

We also added a smooth sliding screen door for easy access in and out. No swinging door to prop open, no awkward latch fumbling when your hands are full. It slides cleanly on the track and closes flush every time. Small detail, but you notice it every single time you use the porch.

The finished result is a fully enclosed screen porch that actually does its job. Outdoor furniture set up inside, string lights overhead, and a backyard view with zero bug interference. That's what a good screen enclosure is supposed to deliver - a space you actually want to spend time in.
