This Sango patio started out as a nice covered outdoor space - good bones, ceiling fan, comfortable furniture. But without any screening, actually using it meant dealing with bugs the whole time. Mosquitoes, gnats, all of it. That's the reality for a lot of covered patios around here.
We came in and enclosed the entire patio using clear-view insect screen. The goal was simple - keep the airflow, block the bugs, and make it look like it belonged there from day one. No bulky frames, no awkward gaps. Just clean, tight screen work wrapped around the full perimeter.
Clear-view screen is worth calling out specifically because it gives you a much more open sightline than standard insect screen. You still get full bug protection, but the view through the screen stays clear. For a patio like this one with a nice yard and neighborhood around it, that matters.
The finished screen patio has a dedicated screen door entry too, which makes the whole setup feel intentional and finished - not like an afterthought. The framing is white, matching the existing columns and trim on the house perfectly. It looks like it was always part of the home's design.
A lot of homeowners put up with open patios for years because they assume screening is a big undertaking. It really doesn't have to be. A well-done screen enclosure like this one gives you your outdoor space back without sacrificing the look of your home.
