A lot of homeowners have a covered porch they barely use because the bugs make it miserable. That's exactly the problem a screen patio solves - and this one in Indian Mound is a great example of how much of a difference it makes.
The enclosure wraps the full width of the patio, keeping the space completely open to fresh air while blocking out everything you don't want. The dark framing ties in cleanly with the existing brick columns and roofline. It doesn't look tacked on - it looks like it was always supposed to be there.
One of the details we put real thought into is the door setup. A smooth sliding screen door means you're not wrestling with a squeaky hinged door every time your hands are full. It just glides. That kind of thing gets used every single day, so getting it right matters.
Inside the enclosure, there's enough room to set up actual furniture - seating, a rug, a table. It functions like a real room, just with a breeze running through it. That's the goal with every screen patio we build: a space you actually want to spend time in, not just something that looks good in photos.
Screen patios and screen enclosures work well in just about any outdoor setup, but they really shine on brick homes with existing covered patios like this one. The structure is already there - we just close it in and make it usable year-round.
